Description:
This conservatory was a winner in the NEW BUILD section of the UK Conservatory Competition organised by Ultraframe. The PVC-U conservatory featured a glass roof and a rear box gutter in its design.

February 2003 - British Conservatories

Description: This conservatory is a welded aluminum structure with a non-organic composition trim package - very resilient to US climate fluctuations. It encloses a heated swimming pool with an entertainment area. The pool walls required sliding glass doors, while the sitting room was fitted with French casement sashes. All interior surfaces are impervious to the high humidity environment created by the pool.

Photograph courtesy of Anglian Home Improvements - When Roy and Ruth Colver of Maidstone decided they wanted a conservatory on the back of their Bed & Breakfast, they caused a headache among local builders. Anglian however had the answer - a 32-foot L-shaped extension which looks like an original feature of the house.
“The conservatory has given us a whole new living area”, said Mr Colver. “We use it all the time and so do our guests.” |
