2004 - Cosy Living Conservatories
|

Description: A bespoke gable ended conservatory that wrapped around the house. The conservatory supplier had to over come many issues with the site in order to build this conservatory. This included
digging extra deep foundations and the fact that the existing property the conservatory would join was “out of square”. Indeed many other conservatory suppliers had turned the “project” down or just wanted to fit a simple lean-to conservatory instead of the design the customer wanted.

2003 - Heritage Conservatories Ltd
|

Description: Historically an Orangery was a place for the cultivation of oranges and lemons and other exotic plants. Today the term
"Orangery" has become fuzzier, referring to a largely glazed building with a glass roof. The Orangery is now often attached to the main house and used as room as well as for plants. Additionally many
"Orangeries" are no longer built out of stone but primarily out of timber. In many respects today’s Orangerie combines the best features of a traditionally built room extension with the benefits of "living under glass" - as afforded by conservatory and sunroom living.
Photographs courtesy of Heritage Conservatories Ltd – Whether your property is old, a listed building, period property or modern, we are confident that our imaginative approach to orangery and conservatory design will ensure your project blends in seamlessly, transforming your living space. Our keen eye for detail, and experience gained over years of dealing with period properties enable us to suggest original and sympathetic solutions to seemingly impossible projects, by combining traditional methods with the best of hi-tech modern materials. Based in
Cambridgeshire, UK, we service Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire as well as Cambridgeshire itself.
